Bhurban (6,800 feet) typically receives slightly less snowfall than Murree Mall Road (7,500 feet) — the 700-foot elevation difference means Murree town's snowfall events are sometimes lighter or absent at Bhurban. However, significant winter disturbances (the heavy snowfall events) affect both elevations.
Active snowfall at the cedar estate: the cedar branches accumulate snow on their needles, the estate paths become white, visibility through the forest reduces. The cedar garden fire becomes essential from 3pm rather than 6:30pm. The Presidential Suite in active snowfall is the most dramatic single experience at the cedar estate — the steam against the falling snow in the private cedar garden.
