Morning sessions: each participant's current leadership challenge, peer feedback. Evening: cedar garden fire conversation — the informal peer network in formation. The mountain itself: the 6am cedar forest walk that young leaders from Islamabad and Lahore have never done, producing the specific experience of Pakistan's natural landscape that motivates the work of building a better country. The youth leadership mountain retreat is the mechanism for building the informal horizontal network that connects peer leaders across institutions, geographic boundaries, and sector boundaries.
