Who This Route Serves
For diaspora visitors, international tourists, and GCC-based Pakistanis landing at ISB, the airport-to-Bhurban transfer is one of the most efficient opening moves of a Pakistan itinerary. Rather than navigating Islamabad immediately after a long flight, travellers can proceed directly to a private mountain villa, rest in the cedar forest setting for 2-3 nights, and approach Islamabad as a subsequent stop when energy is restored.
Departing Travellers — The Pre-Flight Mountain Night
For travellers with a late-morning or afternoon international departure, a final night at Himalaya Villas in Bhurban — departing the property at 7-8am for an ISB departure at 10am-12pm — makes the departure morning genuinely pleasant rather than a hotel-checkout-to-traffic-to-airport exercise. The 60-minute airport drive in early morning traffic is consistently faster than the peak-period estimate.
