For seated outdoor events in the cedar garden: 60-100 guests. For standing receptions and cocktail formats: up to 150 guests. For overnight accommodation: 30-80 guests across all 12 villas depending on sleeping configuration.
All standard Pakistani wedding functions: dholki/mehndi (evening), nikkah ceremony (cedar garden outdoor or dining pavilion indoor), and walima dinner. Multi-function weekends (all functions across 2-3 days) are the most common booking format.
Yes — afternoon nikkah in the cedar garden transitioning to evening walima dinner at the same location is one of the most common configurations. The space setup shifts between functions; the estate remains exclusively for the wedding party throughout.
Yes. Day guests attend specific functions (mehndi, nikkah, walima) without overnight accommodation. Only the inner wedding party needs overnight accommodation. The outdoor event spaces accommodate the full guest count for each function.
Yes — fully halal. No alcohol is served; all food is halal-standard; the property operates within Islamic principles throughout. Gender-separation arrangements for specific functions can be coordinated at booking.
The dining pavilion provides indoor cover for the core wedding group. The cedar garden functions (mehndi, walima) are contingency-planned with the pavilion as the indoor backup. For couples booking autumn or spring weddings, rain risk is lower; monsoon-season weddings (July-August) have a higher probability of rain and the pavilion contingency is standard planning.
Yes — external vendors access the property with prior coordination. The property manages vendor access on event days; vendor vehicles and set-up timing are discussed at the booking stage. External caterers for guest counts above the property's kitchen capacity are accommodated alongside the in-house kitchen.
The estate has limited on-site parking — for large guest counts (50+ day guests), overflow parking in the Bhurban area with shuttle coordination to the estate is standard. Discuss parking logistics with the property at the planning stage.
2-3 months for standard dates. 4-6 months for Eid-adjacent dates and peak summer (June-August). The wedding booking secures the dates before any other booking — for the full estate, this is a single-use reservation that requires the full planning period.
No. Weddings are quoted individually based on: total guest count (overnight and day guests separately), number of functions, specific catering requirements, external vendor arrangements, and season. WhatsApp +92 304 567 9000 with these details for a quote.
Yes — highly recommended for wedding bookings. Seeing the cedar garden, dining pavilion, fire pit area, and villa configurations in person allows the family to plan the function layouts accurately. Arrange via WhatsApp.
Deposit terms are discussed at the booking stage. For full estate wedding bookings, a deposit is required to secure the dates given the single-use nature of the reservation.
The specific advantages of Bhurban: the cedar garden outdoor setting (no city venue replicates the forest and mountain backdrop), private estate exclusivity (the wedding party owns the property for the weekend, no other hotel guests), the multi-function weekend format (all functions at the same location over 2-3 days without venue-switching), and the photography advantage (cedar forest at 6,800 feet produces distinctively beautiful wedding photographs).
Yes — this is the standard destination wedding weekend format at Himalaya Villas. Thursday or Friday evening mehndi in the cedar garden, Saturday nikkah and walima, Sunday family checkout morning. All at the same estate, all exclusively for the wedding party.
