Himalaya Villas & Resorts in Mohra Iswal, Bhurban, is the only private outdoor wedding venue in the Bhurban area. The cedar garden accommodates outdoor ceremonies for 50–120 guests. The full estate buyout model gives weddings complete exclusivity — no hotel guests and no simultaneous events on the property. The venue is located 47km from Islamabad, approximately 45 minutes by road. A mountain wedding in Bhurban offers an experience entirely different from a conventional banquet hall in Islamabad. The natural setting provides what decoration often attempts to recreate: pine forests at 6,800 feet, open skies, cool mountain air, and the tranquil atmosphere of the Murree hills. Himalaya Villas & Resorts transforms this setting into a truly private celebration venue. Unlike traditional hotels, where multiple events may occur simultaneously, the private estate model ensures that your wedding has exclusive access to the entire property from the moment guests arrive until the final departure.
For peak season wedding dates (April–June, September–October, Eid periods), Himalaya Villas recommends 6–8 weeks advance booking. For summer peak weekends in July–August, 8–12 weeks is advised. Post-wedding stay: the bridal couple remains at the estate — the Presidential Suite is the natural honeymoon transition.
50–120 guests for outdoor ceremonies. For weddings with overnight accommodation, the 12-villa estate comfortably houses 30–80 guests. Events larger than 80 overnight guests typically combine Himalaya Villas accommodation with nearby Bhurban options for extended guests.
Yes. Nikkah ceremonies are regularly conducted at the property in both the outdoor cedar garden and indoor dining pavilion. The estate's complete privacy means the ceremony takes place without hotel guests or passers-by. Religious officiants can be arranged locally on request.
Basic in-villa catering is available. For wedding-scale catering (full walima dining for 80+ guests), external catering contractors can be arranged in coordination with Himalaya Villas. Discuss at the enquiry stage — menus, dietary requirements, and service format are all customisable.
