Can I request a specific fire lighting time for my villa evening?
Yes — the fire lighting time is arranged at the booking stage or via WhatsApp the morning of your arrival. The estate team lights the fire at the requested time.
Is there a villa with a fireplace in Bhurban Murree?
Himalaya Villas & Resorts in Bhurban features the cedar garden outdoor fire pit — a stone-edged outdoor hearth in the private cedar grove, lit for guests each evening. This is the 'fireplace' equivalent at the property: the outdoor fire that serves as the estate's central gathering point. All villas also have central heating for indoor warmth. For the specific indoor fireplace experience, enquire at booking as individual villa configurations vary.
Bhurban Villa with Fireplace — The Cedar Garden Fire and Winter Warmth
The fireplace search — guests looking for a 'cosy mountain villa with a fireplace' — reflects a specific winter comfort desire: the combination of a private space, mountain cold outside, and fire warmth inside. Himalaya Villas answers this in two ways: the indoor central heating that maintains villa comfort regardless of external temperature, and the cedar garden fire pit that provides the communal outdoor fire experience.
The Cedar Garden Fire Pit — The Estate's Fireplace
The cedar garden fire pit is the property's answer to the indoor fireplace: a stone-edged outdoor hearth at the centre of the private cedar grove, lit each evening by the estate team for the booked guests. The fire burns from early evening until the group chooses to retire — no closing time, no shared public setting, the cedar trees creating the natural architecture above.
The outdoor fire in cold weather (October-February, 0-12°C) is the experience that guests describe most consistently as the defining character of a winter Bhurban stay. The combination of fire warmth, cold mountain air, cedar canopy, and the private estate belonging to the group — this is not replicable in any indoor fireplace setting.
Indoor Warmth — Central Heating in All Villas
All 12 villas at Himalaya Villas are centrally heated — the villa maintains a comfortable indoor temperature regardless of outside conditions. In January at -4°C outside, the villa interior is warm. The central heating is not a feature that needs to be requested or specified: it is the operating standard of the property year-round, with winter conditions as the primary design consideration.
