Walima at Bhurban Cedar Estate — Planning the Post-Wedding Celebration

Can I hold a Walima at Himalaya Villas Bhurban?

Yes — Himalaya Villas accommodates Walima celebrations (the post-wedding reception meal in Islamic tradition) at the Bhurban cedar estate. The cedar garden as the Walima venue: the long dining table in the cedar garden, the fire pit as the evening centrepiece, the cedar canopy as the setting. The cedar estate Walima is for intimate Walima celebrations of 20-80 guests across multiple villas. WhatsApp +92 304 567 9000 for the Walima enquiry.

The Cedar Estate Walima — A Unique Mountain Setting

The Walima is the obligatory post-wedding feast in Islamic tradition — typically held the day after the Nikah or within the first three days. The cedar estate Walima at Himalaya Villas positions the celebration in the specific natural mountain environment that city venues and hotel ballrooms cannot replicate: the cedar forest, the private outdoor space, and the mountain air.

The Cedar Estate Walima — The Format

The Setting: The cedar garden Walima table: the long table set in the cedar garden, the fire pit providing ambient warmth and light for the evening, the cedar canopy overhead. For a 30-40 person Walima: the cedar garden is the natural gathering space. For larger Walima (50-80 persons): additional tables across the cedar garden in a spread configuration, with the fire as the centrepiece.

The Walima Meal: In-villa and cedar garden catering at the Walima scale: coordinate the Walima menu via WhatsApp at the booking stage. Standard Walima menu elements (pulao, qorma, naan, raita, dessert) can be coordinated with the estate catering team. The Walima meal timing — typically post-Zuhr or after-Asr according to Islamic tradition — is set at the booking stage.
